About me
Kadriye El-Atwani (a.k.a Dr. Kad) is a Multilingual Education Program Supervisor at the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), currently residing in Eastern Washington. Before joining OSPI, Dr. Kad served as a Multilingual Education Specialist at the New Mexico Public Education Department. She brings both personal and professional passion to her work, advocating for Multilingual Learners through a culturally responsive mindset and skillset aimed at closing opportunity gaps and supporting the success of culturally and linguistically diverse students. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys baking, cooking, reading, and traveling.
