About me
Yvonne Williams serves as Director for MLs Educator Engagement at WCEPS, where she leads national initiatives that strengthen partnerships with Local Education Agencies and support high-impact instructional practices, with a particular emphasis on multilingual learners. She oversees a team of 35 instructional coaches who work with schools across the country to implement WCEPS programs through sustained, job-embedded support.
With more than 30 years of experience in education, Yvonne has worked across all grade levels, PK–12, supporting diverse student populations and advancing equitable learning opportunities. Previously, she served as a Professional Learning Specialist at WIDA, contributing to educator development at a national and international level. At WCEPS, she also designed a nationally recognized coaching model that extends professional learning beyond traditional workshops and includes pathways to university credit.
Yvonne holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Angelo State University and a master’s degree in Bilingual Education from Nova Southeastern University. She maintains endorsements in TESL, Bilingual Education, and Computer Literacy. As a presenter, Yvonne blends deep expertise with practical, research-based strategies to support educators in creating inclusive, effective learning environments.
