About me
Caleb Zilmer is Assistant Professor of Multilingual Education at Western Washington University’s Renton campus. He teaches courses for pre- and in- service teachers pursuing their ELL and/or bilingual education (BE) endorsements and coordinates with partner districts to support program participants. Formerly, he taught high school ESL and Spanish. Caleb holds a Ph.D. in Second Languages Education from the University of Minnesota, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Southern Oregon University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with a Spanish minor from Illinois State University. His research is in second language acquisition (SLA).
